Financial advisors are responsible for a lot.  Compliance tasks, CRM entries, sending required disclosures, and mountains of contracts and paperwork are just a few of the things that pull us planners away from our core competency of improving peoples’ financial lives.  Thanks to advances in technology, many of these tasks can be either automated and synchronized between programs.  This means less time copying and pasting and dragging and dropping from one program to another, freeing up hours of your valuable time.

Automation platforms, such as Zapier, are most powerful when combined with a data intake platform such as JotForm (freeware) or PreciseFP (much better).  These programs shift the task of data entry onto the prospect/client in the form of personalized and branded online templates.  Zapier can then extract form data and send it to different programs for various purposes.  Data intake programs may also have their own useful integrations as well.  For instance, one can make a custom fact finder in PreciseFP which directly communicates and sets up assets, liabilities, and income data in several financial planning programs (e.g. RightCapital, Moneyguide, eMoney).

Scheduling software, such as Calendly can also be used for data intake which can then be linked to other programs to minimize data entry and save time.

Pricing

We charge a flat, hourly rate of $165/hour for all automation and implementation assistance and tailor our deliverables to the individual needs of each firm.  Exact time requirements of Zapier automations and PreciseFP/Jotform implementations varies by client, but we normally see Zapier implementations requiring 15-25 hours of work and PreciseFP/Jotform requiring another 10-25 hours for design, mapping, and testing.  Any ongoing support following implementation is billed at the same rate.
